Free Backtesting Tool in Trade-Ideas™

The backtesting tool within Trade-Ideas™ scans the previous 15 trading sessions and automatically identifies all of the occurrences of a pre-defined trading strategy that you can customize. Once the patterns are scanned, a performance summary will display hypothetically:

  • How many trades would have been made during that time
  • How many of those trades were winners and losers
  • The average size of the winners and losers
  • The net profit or loss that would have occurred if you traded the given strategy.

The tool is designed to backtest events, but it is not stock-based backtesting , nor does past performance guarantee future results. The tool is designed to help you determine which of your trading strategies may be profitable, and which may not, based on your test criteria.
