CD & Bonds Order Status

The Order Status page for CDs and bonds provides information on any order you have placed that is open, completed, has expired or has been canceled. You can use the Order Status page to keep track of investing activity in your account. You can check the order status of CDs & Bonds purchases in two ways.

The first way to check CDs & Bonds Trade information is through the Trade menu:

  1. Hover over Trade at the top of the page.
  2. Click on CDs & Bonds Overview under the Trade CDs & Bonds heading.
  3. In the horizontal row of tabs that appear, click on the Order Status tab.
  4. Underneath the heading 'Order Status - Last Update,' select the bond type of your choice from the list.
  5. Select a status. You may choose from canceled, completed or pending orders, or you may choose to view all of your bond orders.
  6. Once you have selected a bond type and status preference, click the purple Search button. This will bring up a list of all the orders inside the parameters of your search criteria.

The second way to check CDs & Bonds Trade information is through the My Account menu:

  1. Hover over My Account at the top of the page.
  2. Click on Order Status under the Account Details heading.
  3. In the row of tabs that appears, click on the CDs & Bonds tab.
  4. Underneath the heading 'Order Status - Last Update,' select the bond type of your choice from the list.
  5. Select a status. You may choose from canceled, completed or pending orders, or you may choose to view all of your bond orders.
  6. Once you have selected a bond type and status preference, click the purple Search button. This will bring up a list of all the orders inside the parameters of your search criteria.

The price you receive for your bond will depend on market conditions, and may be higher or lower than the price you paid for the note. Scottrade reserves the right to act as principal on any Fixed Income trade.
