Stock Summary Page

The Stock Summary page provides detailed performance data and analysis from a variety of sources. To access the Stock Summary page, hover over Quotes & Research and click Stocks under the Research heading. You can also enter a symbol into the Detailed Quote box in the top right corner of your screen to access the Stock Summary page from another page of your account.

A stock quote and real-time performance chart are provided at the top of the Stock Summary page. Use the drop-down box provided to view a MACD chart or a Volume chart. All charts are set by default to include information for the current day only. Use the buttons below any chart to view performance for five days, six months, one year or five years. You can embed any chart on the Stock Summary page into a different website environment including personal blogs or the Scottrade® Online Community. The ability to copy and insert charts into new locations allows you to provide visual aids while you discuss trading strategies and risks with other investors. To learn how to embed charts into a new location, read Embedding Charts.

Click the Advanced Charts button to access charts that can be customized to help you spot and identify trends.

To the right of any stock chart on the Summary page, detailed quote information is offered including the current bid, ask, beta and market capitalization. Below the detailed quote information you can get free analyst reports and a performance comparison of the issuing company to its industry peers. Scottrade provides S&P stock reports, Reuters Research Reports and Second Opinion Weekly reports. S&P and Reuters are fundamental analyst reports. Second Opinion Weekly is a technical analysis report.

Below any stock chart, the latest news headlines related to the stock you've selected and the issuing company's latest annual and quarterly SEC filings are displayed.

You can easily view a quote, set an alert, add the stock to your watch list or place a trade by using the buttons in the toolbar at the top of the page.
