Configuring or Setting up Positions

You can change the following settings of the Positions window:

  • Adding or removing available data columns to your list view.
  • Changing the order that each column appears.
  • Sorting positions by alphabetical order or by category.

To change the settings of the Positions window:

On the Positions menu in the top left corner of the Positions window, click Configure Positions.

The Configure Positions window appears, allowing you to add or remove columns, change the column order, or select how you want to sort your positions.

You can use the Search box to search for an available column. To search for an available column by alphabetical order or by category:

  1. Under the Search box in the top left corner of the Configure Positions dialog box, select Alphabetical or Category.
  2. In the Search box, type the column that you want to locate in the Available list.

To add a column to your Positions window:

  1. On the Positions menu in the top left corner of the Positions window, click Configure Positions.
  1. From the Available list, choose the column you want to display in your Positions list and then click Add.

To remove a column from your Positions window:

  1. On the Positions menu in the top left corner of the Positions window, click Configure Positions.
  2. From the Selected list, click the column you want to remove from the Positions list and then click Remove.

Tip: You may select multiple columns from the Available or Selected lists by using the following operations:

  • Press CTRL and click the desired columns.
  • Press Shift and click the desired columns.

There are two ways to change the order in which each column is displayed in your Positions window:

  • From the Selected list in the Position Configuration dialog box, click the desired field or fields and then, to the right, click the Up, Down, Move to Top, or Move to Bottom arrow.

To adjust the width of a column in your Positions window:

  1. Point to the right of the column heading.

  1. When the double arrow appears, click and drag the column heading to the left or right.
