Your trading and investing
experience, made easier.
If you work with an independent registered investment advisor, your experience will differ.
Scottrade.com is more intuitive than ever before.
We’ve replaced the left navigation with a new top navigation menu. The items that were located on the left side of your screen are now included under their associated tabs at the top of the screen and are much more convenient to access. For instance, your account balance can still be found under My Account.
With this new approach to our client website, you’ll benefit from:
The new hover functionality allows you to easily find tools to help you manage your account.
Hover over the tabs at the top of the page to see a list of items associated with that topic.
The new drop-down menus allow you to explore areas of the site without leaving your current page.
Our new site pairs familiar functionality with a modern aesthetic. To make sure the transition goes smoothly, we have provided step-by-step instructions for performing some of the most essential tasks. Look below to find out how to transfer money, make a trade, view your account statements and use the Quick Trade Bar.
Hover over My Account at the top of your screen. In the menu that expands, look under Transfer Funds and click on Deposits. On the Deposits page, select the type of transfer you want to make.
Make a trade
Hover over Trade at the top of your screen. Choose the type of order you want to initiate in the menu that expands.
View account statements
Hover over My Account at the top of your screen. Look under Statements & History in the menu that expands and click Account Statements, then choose the date of the statement you wish to view.
Use the Quick Trade Bar
To quickly make a trade or get a quote, you can use the Quick Trade Bar located at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see the bar, click the purple arrow in the lower-left corner to expand it. To trade, click Quick Trade and enter your order details and click Review Order.
