Your ATM/debit card will arrive in the mail within 5 to 10 days.  Make cash withdrawals anytime, anywhere nationwide and get the fees refunded throught our ATM Fee Reimbursement Program.* You can also access banking products and services online — including Online Bill Pay — from or through the Scottrade® Mobile app.

It’s easy to get started so that you can use your banking services quickly. To begin, please complete these simple steps.






Print, sign and return your signature card.

Because some transactions require a physical signature, please sign the signature card and return it to your local Scottrade® team in person or by mail.

This is also a great time to order standard or deluxe standard checks, through your Scottrade Bank® account. Additionally, as soon as you receive your Scottrade ATM/debit card, you can choose your PIN and activate your card by calling 866.633.5293. 






Fund your account.

If you haven’t already funded your account, please do so within 30 days to ensure the account remains open.

There are four easy ways to fund your account:

  • Money Direct® (ACH), which allows you to deposit funds electronically
  • Transfer of an existing account or initial deposit from another bank
  • Make a deposit to your account at any ATM using your Scottrade® ATM/debit card
  • Wire transfer

Now is also a great time to add the convenience of direct deposit to your account.

Funds deposited in Scottrade Bank are protected by the FDIC to the maximum extent permitted by law.

*Scottrade Bank does not issue a charge for cash withdrawals made at any domestic ATM. We will refund all reasonable cash withdrawal fees applied to your account by a domestic U.S. ATM at the end of each statement cycle. The rebate will appear as a lump-sum credit on the same statement that incurred the initial ATM fees. If you close your account before the end of the statement period, you will not receive a refund. Scottrade Bank makes its best effort to identify those ATM fees eligible for refund. In the event that you do not receive a refund, please contact your local Scottrade® brokerage branch office. We reserve the right to terminate or limit reimbursements if we observe a pattern of fraud or abusive overuse, and to modify or discontinue the ATM fee refund program at any time.
